ADJECTIVE:1. Intensely desirous or interested: agog, ardent, athirst, bursting, eager, impatient, keen1, solicitous, thirsting, thirsty. Informal : raring. Idioms: champing at the bit, ready and willing. See CONCERN. 2. Having a strong urge to obtain or possess something, especially material wealth, in quantity: acquisitive, avaricious, covetous, grasping, greedy, hungry. Informal : grabby. See DESIRE, GIVE. 3. Having an insatiable appetite for an activity or pursuit: edacious, gluttonous, greedy, omnivorous, rapacious, ravenous, unappeasable, voracious. See DESIRE.
