Showing or suggesting a disposition to be violently destructive without scruple or restraint: barbarous, bestial, cruel, fell2, feral, ferocious, fierce, inhuman, truculent, vicious, wolfish. See KIND. 3. Of or relating to wild animals: feral, wild. See WILD. 4. Not civilized: barbarian, barbaric, barbarous, primitive, rude, uncivilized, uncultivated, uncultured, wild. Archaic : uncivil.
