NOUN:1. The condition of being unlike or dissimilar: difference, discrepance, discrepancy, dissimilarity, dissimilitude, distinction, divarication, divergence, divergency, unlikeness. See SAME. 2. A marked lack of correspondence or agreement: difference, disagreement, discrepance, discrepancy, gap, incompatibility, incongruity, inconsistency. See AGREE. 3. The condition or fact of being unequal, as in age, rank, or degree: disproportion, disproportionateness, inequality. See SAME.
