ADJECTIVE:1. Bringing, predicting, or characterized by misfortune: bad, evil, inauspicious, unfavorable, unpropitious. See LUCK. 2. Causing harm or injury: bad, deleterious, detrimental, evil, harmful, hurtful, injurious, mischievous. See HELP. 3. Suffering from or affected with an illness: down, sick, unwell. Informal : laid up.
