ADJECTIVE:1. Lower than normal in strength or concentration due to admixture: dilute, thin, washy, watered-down, waterish, weak. See STRONG. 2. Lacking the qualities requisite for spiritedness and originality: bland, innocuous, insipid, jejune, namby-pamby, vapid, washy, waterish. Informal : wishy-washy. See EXCITE, GOOD. 3. Being weak in quality or substance: anemic, bloodless, pale, pallid, waterish. See STRONG.
