An organization for boys and young men from the ages of seven to twenty. The aim of the Boy Scouts is to increase values of citizenship and leadership in its members. More than three million boys and young men participate.  1
‡ The Scout Law lists twelve characteristics a Boy Scout should have: to be trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.  2
