St. Guinoch, Bishop and Confessor in Scotland

 
BY his prayers and counsels, he was many years the support both of the church and state, among the Scots, in the ninth century, in the reign of Kenneth II., &c. The Aberdeen breviary and Henschenius place him under King Enos. He died about the year 838. See Major, 1, 2, c. 14. Camerarius in Menologio Scotico, King, &c.  1
