The survey should include quantitative and qualitative type’s questions in order to get a `broader view of the customers’ behaviour. Questions could include “What do you think affects your behaviour
As I reflect back over these last five weeks I now have a clearer view of marketing and how it affects not just the consumers of the world and the companies with their marketing managers, but how it affects me. Yes, I am a consumer who clips coupons, budgets my finances, and looks for sale items and this marketing class has taught me that marketing is more than selling or advertising. Marketing managers have a difficult job, as marketing involves identifying, meeting and satisfying the needs of customers or clients with goods and or services. Coming up with different strategies and marketing mixes is challenging because we live in a changing world with people who needs and financial situations are different. Yet still marketing engulfs every part of our daily lives. From what type of breakfast we eat, to where we shop, and even in our work environment. As I examine marketing, I will blend aspect to my career path as I make myself marketable for the future and aid my employer in the growth and survival in the economy.

There are different types of research which can be used to get the information needed for marketing research. Primary research is information which you conduct yourself when you cannot gain information from secondary research which is readily available. This information is very useful because you go the results yourself and you are able to give your own opinion of results which you have obtained. Primary research is more expensive than secondary research because you have to collect the equipment by yourself and set up the different methods of obtaining your information. Secondary research is information which has been conducted previously by someone else, it is of great use as well because it saves time as it is ready for you to use and is

This world has the good and bad to everything, even in marketing. The advantages of marketing research are “agility which helps to change the analysis during the investigation, and the researchers can go their own pace, expenses which are, of course, they can use and control what they want to spend on the research, and customization which is how they want to create the studies” (Acevado, 2017). The disadvantages of marketing research are “resources that are not available in some locations, geographical limitations which makes it hard to get a product to a particular place, and groupthink if the product not exposed to the correct network” (Acevado, 2017). With all this, ethical issues could arise, especially if the disadvantages come up. Per marketing-schools.org, moral issues are “more of a philosophy that informs all marketing efforts. It seeks to promote honesty, fairness, and responsibility in all advertising. Ethics is a difficult subject because everyone has subjective judgments about what is ‘right’ and what is ‘wrong’” (2017). In short, this could be a problem or problems if you lie about the research, you could lose credibility, the study would be considered tampered. For example, say there is a product only sold in Australia, a customer in America wants to buy it. They contact the company asking questions such as if shipping to the states is a possibility. You, the marketer, the seller, lie and say yes when the reality is the opposite. The customer waits months for

The focus is on discovering true inner meaning and new insights. Quantitative research is marketing research that addresses research objectives through empirical assessments that involve numerical measurement and analysis. Because qualitative research is less structured, I would use this research method first.
