Hello Dr. Chu: I was assigned as the TA for the HSCI 18491 (Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00pm to 2:50pm). I asked at the office and it seems like your students will be enrolled in this lab. Since is the first time I will be working in a 50 minute class (usually were 1,5 hours twice a week), I wonder if you could send me your syllabus for this class. The objective is to start planning the lab now in order to keep it in close relation to your lectures. I'm glad to get the opportunity to work with you. Best regards.
Jodi, the INFT 124 course assisted me with me remember important computer definitions, language and functions. This course also improved my knowledge of computers when the instructor reviewed and showed me how to complete routine computer actions. In addition to this, it also assisted me with advancing my computing skills and this course showed me suitable ways to complete business spreadsheet, graphic and presentations. The INFT 124 course assisted me with becoming familiar with computer operations and the assignments that I complete in this course helped me enjoy working with computers and software applications in business environments. Finally, Jody I enjoyed working with you in this course and I hope you have great
My first semester as a college freshman is finally coming to an end. This semester has been the start to a new chapter in my life and I am glad to have finally finished my first semester on a high note. Coming into college I never knew what things would be like and how would I adjust. All I knew is that I wanted to succeed and eventually graduate college. The courses I have taken this semester have had big impact on my learning and my future. Assignments that taught skills and lessons to be used in the future. I have learned skills such as being able to collaborate in groups because of projects in ASU 150.
In today's society many religions and many people don't see eye to eye with the LGBTQ community. They see this community as something less significant than others, viewed as something unnatural, and even something different from this world we live in. This community suffers from being threatened for their lives, being scared of being their true self. In what power should people have to make these decision on what people should like; none, because people should be allowed to love whatever gender they please with. People in this community shouldn't have to a live in fear of being judged by others, tormented, or even humiliated because others don't agree with what gender they like. They are just like every human that loves, but many don't see that because of maybe the way they were raised was to only believe in same sex marriage or people just don't like the idea of a sex liking the same sex. People don't see that society is more open than it was back in the days. This community suffers from being othered and are being viewed as monstering walking on the street. There's stereotypes being made about people in this community, there's religions that disown family that are in this community, and people don't see these types of event could lead to self harm, addiction, and could mess a person mind, just because they don't agree with what gender they please with.
1. Make sure that you understand the objective of the lab(s) and the requirements for successfully performing them.

Before attending GCU and using the sources that they provide, I normally would use resources and tools that were provided by various universities. Two notable examples that I would use where Purdue University's OWL and also Calvin College's KnightCite. OWL is a particularly helpful source since it offers a wide variety of articles regarding various topics that play a key role within successful writing. KnightCite was also a source I widely used because of the fact that it was a great way in order to get MLA (which I used in high school) citations for works used in my papers. However, nowadays I mainly use the sources provided by GCU such as the writing center which I have found to be quite helpful. In particular, I enjoy the templates provided
There are several sections to this lab. Find each section and complete the “Preparing for Class” sections.
Since 1973 when the Supreme Court handed down its decisions Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton, states have also maintained their own abortion laws. After many hours of debate, on July 8, 2015 the Texas House of Representatives passed House Bill 3994 (“HB 3994”) on a 93-46 vote and Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed the bill. On January 1, 2016, HB 3994 went into effect. This is a bill amending judicial bypass that makes it harder for minors to get an abortion through the courts. This measure also requires all women to have government-issued identification to seek abortion services. HB 3994 caused changes to the law that could be detrimental to the safety, security and health of minors. HB 3994 amends existing
When I originally was registering my class choices for the Fall 2016 semester, I considered English 111 to be an undemanding course that I could pass without a lot of effort on my behalf. I had no trouble passing prior English courses, years ago, so I felt this course would be similar. What I had not anticipated was how much I honestly could learn, such as: how you should properly cite sources, how you should suitably prove your thesis and how you can accurately set up the flow of a paper. Although, the most informative part of English 111, for me, has been absorbing all the information on the different styles of papers that can be written. I believe that recognizing the usefulness of distinctive varieties of papers will help me throughout
On September 6, 2017, I were documented for an incident that involved a University Housing policy violation. I was charged with violating the University Housing Alcohol 1.2 policy. With my violation, came consequences. I met with The Residence Conduct Coordinator to discuss my actions and came to the conclusion that I would have to schedule a meeting with The Campus Alcohol and Drug Education Center (CADEC) and with that, a reflection paper.
My dad used to tell me all the time that we are all a work in progress. At the time I didn’t know exactly know what he meant. As years have passed on and my relationship with Christ matured, I now know what he meant. We as children of God can never be perfect, but what we can do is strive to be like Christ, this is what the definition of a Christian is, “Christ like”. I try to share the good news of Jesus, and when I do I like to talk to people about God’s Grace and through his son Jesus there is no Condemnation.
As part of your pre-lab you must have all data tables already copied into your lab notebook. These tables
When I was 14 years old, I went into high school already struggling. I was caught sneaking out of my house when I was in seventh grade and had been accused of everything from drinking to doing drugs. I was the oldest of four girls and the pressure to be a role model was suffocating and I didn’t do well. No one trusted me.
Week 1 – Contact Claudia Lemper (instructor of Micro 310L) to talk about the common mistakes made by the majority of students, the high points of good lab notebooks, and obtain examples of good and lab notebooks. I will also ask previous Micro 310L students (Monica Morrison and Kristina Larsen) for their input on what they wish would have been explained to them before writing a lab notebook and speak with current Micro 310L students (Mikolina Lowe and Noelle Gray) about any confusion they still have when writing notebooks.
Over the course of the semester, I have been fortunate enough to work with a student who is having difficulties when it comes to reading. My student does not have difficulties when it comes to hearing a word, but rather when he sees a word. My student has definitely benefited from one on one work with me as well as the additional help he’s getting from the reading specialist during their WIN (what I need) time. My student does not like to read because he knows that he is struggling and he is embarrassed about it. When my student goes to his WIN time, he does really well because the instruction is at his level and there are only two other students who are also on the same level there as well. Besides the current intervention, programs I would recommend are Direct Instruction: Reading Mastery, Letter Spacing, Wilson Reading System and the Lindamood program (LiPS).
